The music club of Dewey Institute is a community where students can communicate music-related ideas, and a group where students can improve their musical skills. Dewey Music Club is committed to provide a platform for music-loving students, and to give members of the community an show their opportunities in the school’s artistic performance mission.
Movie Club is organized for movie and film culture lovers. It has multiple kinds of activities, including movie nights, micro-movie shooting, etc. This has created a space for students who love film and television culture to communicate, share, and co-create in.
The Drawing and Painting club is the student group that has the longest history in Dewey. In this club, students can participate in painting, art, design, sculpture, etc. There will be an art degree-based teacher leading students in activities above.
For photographers who regard the lens as the second pair of eyes and discover the beauty of life, it is very important to find the right group of people that share similar interests. Dewey Institute understands this very well, so we organized a group of students who love photography and started the photography club to provide students with professional photography equipment and outdoor photography opportunities.
Dewey’s Dance club is a self-organized after-school group. Students who love dancing and are willing to share the experience of dancing gather here. Dewey Institute often invites professional dance teachers to give guest lectures in order to provide more professional training to dance club members.

Dewey Institute has an 100% natural environment, which is meant for outdoor sports activities. The establishment of the baseball club helps Dewey students to actually walk into nature and experience the natural charm of Canada.
Dewey’s Football Team is a student group organized by Dewey students. We provide football fans with natural football field and competition chances with other local schools’ football teams. Through these events, we hope our students can improve sports skills, enhance friendship, integrate with local culture and enjoy the charm of nature.
The basketball club is one of the earliest clubs in established Dewey Institute. Students can communicate with each other through basketball games to enhance friendship and integrate with local community. The basketball community enriches students’ after-school life with various forms of activities and gives basketball enthusiasts a chance to show themselves.
Debating skill is one of the core skills in university life overseas. Dewey’s debating society is students’ self-organized group. Led by teachers with professional debating experience, the community is committed to the learning of debating skills for Dewey students. Members are able to fully experience and learn the latest social topics and expand students’ horizons in this club.
As the organizer of Eighth “Beidou Cup” National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest (The North American Division), Dewey Institute has made great achievements in its efforts to open up a platform in North America for students with scientific and technological talents. The establishment of Beidou Science Science Club aims to improve young people’s scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and identify young blood for the Beidou scientific system.
